TITLE OF ACTION: «Support for the operating and coordination costs of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone Fishery Management Unit for the implementation of the local development strategy»

The Act concerns support for the operating and coordination costs of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone FPA for the implementation of the local development strategy in the intervention area of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone. More specifically, the operation concerns the coverage of the costs of managing, monitoring, evaluating and coordinating the local strategy, as approved by No. 872/10.04.2024 (V’ 2360) YA, as in force, in order for the PPA Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone to implement public and private actions as well as inter-regional and transnational cooperation projects in the intervention area of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone.
On PPA for the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone consists of the following partners :
1. Development of South Epirus-Amvrakikos Joint Stock Company-Development Agency of Local Government (ETANAM SA OTA) - Lead Partner,
2. ANAPTYXIAKI IPEIROU S.A. - Development Agency of Local Government (IPEIROS S.A.),
3. TRICHONIDA S.A.-Development Joint Stock Company of Local Authorities,
The operation includes 3 Subprojects, as many as the OTP partners, which will be implemented through the self-financing method and in accordance with the specifications:
- in the institutional framework of the programme
- in the «Partnership Contract» of the Local Development Strategy.
The expenditure of each sub-project concerns the salaries of staff, staff of the service structure of the OCT (head and cooperating bodies), which will be employed in the administration, management, implementation and monitoring of the operations of the Local Fisheries Strategy of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone. The payment of the expenditure of the Fisheries OP will be made using Simplified Cost Options under Articles 56 of Reg. (EU) 2021/1060 and 34 of the Ministerial Decision No 114947/2022 (B’ 6132) and in particular a single rate 40% will be used on eligible direct personnel costs to cover the remaining eligible costs.
Each Subproject refers to the actions to be implemented by each partner of the OTP (ETANAM SA OTA, HPEIROS S.A., TRICHONIDA S.A.) for the implementation of the local development strategy in the intervention area of the Amvrakikos-Epiros Fishing Zone (Territorial Units of Preveza, Ioannina, Arta, Thesprotia, Aitoloakarnania and Lefkada (Municipality of Meganissi)).

The total public cost of the project is 1.287.500,00€ which is distributed in the 3 Subprojects as follows:
- Subproject 1: 437.750,00€, Beneficiary: Development of South Epirus-Ambrakiko Joint Stock Company-Development Agency of Local Government (Lead Partner).
- Subproject 2: 424.875,00€, Beneficiary: ANAPTYXIAKI IPEIROU S.A.-Development Agency of Local Government.
- Subproject 3: 424.875,00€, Beneficiary: TRICHONIDA S.A.-Development Company of Local Authorities.
